BIOGRAPHY

Hello! My name is Lily Hale, and I am a multimedia artist. I'm mostly focused on charcoal, graphite, pen, pastels, and oil paint. I am inspired and fascinated by the works of the old masters like Artemisia Gentileschi and Caravaggio, and I find myself constantly going back to their work to attempt to emulate their grace and subtlety in their attention to detail.

 

I am most comfortable outside, and am inspired by the natural world.

I always try to capture the beauty in the small things, the things that are worth living for. 

I am interested in human relationships, and the way people view the world and themselves. Portraiture is something I keep coming back to, something I will always expect to love. If these themes interest you, then you may appreciate my art!
